Mother of All Living

In my exploration of my Divine Identity, there is always an adventure, a challenge to know “thyself” in a greater way. I find it fascinating and enlightening. I find it refreshing and even maddening at times. So, there is nothing at all that is dull about it. Life is exciting and the ride is thrilling!
As I contemplate the Divine Feminine and the many ways that I am in awe of Her, I don’t merely stop at women and female creations, but I include the allness of Life. For there has to be a receiving end to every Force that seeks to be manifest. Perhaps that’s where we get our ideas about receiving in sports. See? Whether we are admitted to play a sport or not, the feminine aspect looms large in the horizon of life.
I often smile when I think about the divine Mother as described by the poet Valentinus. Wisdom, seeking to conceive by herself, became the creative power from whom all things originate. She who taught Adam and Eve self-awareness. She who was their guide. And She who assisted in conceiving their children.
The Divine Feminine is to be honored in Katherine Johnson, who remained a hidden figure for more than 60 years. Ms. Johnson, a recent ancestor, calculated the trajectory for Alan Shepard, the first American in space, before electronic computers were used. There was genius in her and she was willing to use it in service. I honor her in Harriet Tubman, born into slavery, but escaped and subsequently made some 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 enslaved people. Harriet listened to her Wisdom and heeded Its direction.
We too can go beyond any seeming boundaries by just turning to Her Wisdom. Knowing Her Support is available is all we need to defy any odds.
